Renting equipment from our business is a simple process. Start by visiting our website to pre-book before your vacation, or visit our physical rental location to view our selection of gear. Choose the gear that suits your skill level and preferences. You can rent equipment for as little as 1 hour, by the day, multiple days or weekly. Once you've made your selection, proceed to complete the rental agreement, providing necessary information. Pay the rental fee, and the equipment will be ready for pickup at our rental shop. Return the gear at the end of the rental period, we ask you to return the gear as clean and free of sand as possible!

Accidents can happen while winging, and we understand that. If you accidentally damage a rented surfboard, please inform us as soon as possible. Depending on the extent of the damage, you may incur additional charges. We'll assess the damage and discuss the cost with you. We strongly recommend reviewing our rental agreement for specific terms and conditions regarding damage. Our goal is to ensure you have a positive surfing experience, and we appreciate your honesty in reporting any issues.

Yes, you can swap or upgrade your rented equipment during your rental period. If you want to try an anything different, please contact our rental shop. We'll work with you to make the exchange. Keep in mind that the availability of specific models may vary, so it's a good idea to inquire about potential swaps in advance if you have a particular piece of equipment in mind. We want to ensure that you have the best surfing experience possible, and we're here to accommodate your preferences.

Yes, our rental facility is open to the public. We must advise though that renting equipment at the Makai Sports Center does NOT include use of the hotel pool. Please be respectful of hotel guests while renting at the Makai Sports Club.

To rent windsurf, wing or kite equipment for the first time, a 15-30 minute assessment is required. This short introductory session will allow us to confirm your skill level is sufficient for the conditions in front of the center, and for us to provide you with safety and usage guidance.
